i'm trying something a little different for some a set of dance inspired images. think maybe my little sewing machine and i are going to be a tiny bit busy

i heart hokey

last week i ordered this lovely wallet from hokey + yesterday when I got home I had a little package of goodness waiting for me. and i love the wallet! plus the goodies that came with it. i love the hair slides + the owl brooch too.

and look what i found while searching for some dance images for a super top secret side project - paper dolls from singing in the rain! i am a bit of a tragic for those old hollywood musicals so there may have been some tom cruise-esque couch jumping happening.

this is.... what i would like to be when i grow up

when i was a kid i wanted to be a lot of things. i wanted to be an archaeologist, sarah in the labryinth, sleeping beauty (because her dress changed colour) and even a pilot. clearly some of these are a little more realistic than others. and at almost 25 i still have no idea. i would like to do something to combine all the things i love like art, crafting, photography and just learning in general. people think i am a little strange for wanting to go back and study after 6 years at uni but oh well. i'm thinking of doing an illustration short course or even maybe jewellery.

if all else fails i can totally live my dream of marrying david bowie and wearing that awesome white dress in the labryinth.

sydney in the rain

let me start by saying its rare i go on holidays. and i have been jumping up and down excited about my mini break weekend to sydney. sadly it rained (actually poured) for two of the three days we were in the harbour city. i have never been so wet in my whole life! but all soakings aside i did enjoy my time there seeing a couple of the sites, trying to search for the city for a coffee + trying not to drown. i can't wait to go back for a little longer and maybe drier time . here are a few happy snaps from my polaroid
