colour me loved

i may have mentioned once or twice before that i love love. and i love super sweet weddings with personality. 

and i came across this website once wed during the week while i have been at home sick. these weddings look like so much fun! for more beautiful images visit here

resting up isn't as fun as it looks

i have been a little under the weather. that silly flu has kept me on the sidelines for much of the last week and now i have had to give in and just sleep it off. 

but here are some of the fun things i have managed to do in between coughing and wheezing. 

1. melbourne design market - really fun as usual although it was a touch too packed and i don't know if there was as many really great quality stalls as usual. in saying that there were some amazing  things on offer. 

2. i went to the john brack exhibition at the ngv last night and it was unreal. i have always loved his art and seeing so much of his work in one place really was inspiring. 

3. and tonight despite my condition i am going to see this lass play because, well she is amazing

the market is always fun and always super busy but i can't wait to go. 

i heart adventureland

i saw adventureland today. i was pretty sure i was going to like it, i mean why else fork out $17 to see it otherwise? but i didn't just like it -  i loved it so much i would actually consider forking out another$17 to see it again. and i loved it for so many reasons but here are 7 that sort of sum up why (well sort of):

1. jesse eisenberg (who is the lead) is amazing 

2. i want to move to new york because its the answer too

3. don't dream it's over by crowded house is in the movie. it's one of my favourite songs

4. i like adventure parks that are sort of crap and rigged

5. em (played so amazingly by kristen stewart) is so broken and so much like me i was actually shocked

6. sometimes the right person for you is the one who hurts you the most, that's the 'lesson' for the movie and one i keep forgetting

7. it's funny - bill hader + kristen wiig are in it for goodness sake!

so you should see it.
