Film Clip Friday - Turn Me On

 I have mentioned my love for The Grates on this blog many times. Many, many times. So after seeing the new film clip for their single Turn Me on, this Film Clip Friday was an absolute no brainer. Happy Friday xx

so last night i went to see the grates and it was pretty much amazing. ok, it was awesome actually. i still might be jumping around with excitement. its making it a bit hard to type actually.

anyway, they are so great live + it just looks like so much fun for them. like i have said before, i love these funsters. all my fave songs were played, i was literally right at the front & apart from a scary few minutes when patience jumped into the crowd and well the crowd went a little loopy, it was awesome!

if you're in melbourne, they are at the hifi again tonight and there are still tickets so do yourself a favour and go along ( i want to go again tonight!)

awww yeah!

i am super dooper excited today for two reasons:

1. my copy of this should be arriving in the mail today

2. tomorrow night i am going to see the grates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and quite frankly i am pretty much floating on air - lets do star jumps -and high five level of excitement.

so this week i am running late again with what is on my desk. sorry! but there is a good reason, i have been busy making pretty things and going fun places. so here is what is on my desk:

my grates pack that finally turned up. it has a pillow case!

i went to see laura marling last night at the corner and well she was amazing, seriously i was stunned.and marcus who was her support & played with her was amazing too. and she has the cutest pixie cut, it gives me hope that my hair will look nice too when it is blonde again (hopefully)

to whom it may concern,

when i grow up i know what i want to be. this is going to sound a little odd but i would like to be just like those funsters from the grates. not in a stalkerish way, but in a how much fun do they have kind of way. i mean they get to travel, write songs with their friends and just generally be merry. and patience has the best dresses ever so i am yet to think of a downside. i went to see them last night in st kilda and it was amazing, in fact i haven't been able to wipe the grin from my dial since. so despite the few flaws in my aspirations (ie. i can't sing, am not in a band with my friends etc.) i think maybe if i start with the dresses and making pretty pictures for album artwork then the rest will fall into place.
