i don't necessarily like valentines day. i think it has sort of lost its heart a little so to speak. but the thing i do like is that it reminds us to say i love you. and i love love. and lust. and just generally swooning. 

so it was with this idea in mind that i created my new cards for this years love fest. i have listed them up in my madeit store here  + i will have them with me at the rose street markets also.  i will be adding a few new designs to the store in the next day or so too. let me know what you think.

times they are a changing. my best friend is leaving tomorrow to go to costa rica + america for 6 months.  and i'm super sad about it. i honestly feel like a little lost button. but it kind of works for you guys - i have being trying to distract myself so i have been going crazy on the creative front. which means lots of new designs for you over the next few weeks starting with the lovely cards above. and i have them as prints too. so come along to rose street tomorrow and say hi and cheer me up and pick up lots of goodies for your loved ones. and i will be having special deals coming up to christmas at the market ! i will also be adding these new goodies to my madeit shop in the next few days

p.s my lost parcel is found! to say i was relived is an understatement. i still am rather annoyed at australia post though but thankful that they found my parcel

extra extra read all about it.....

this weekend was my first week at the rose street artist markets down in fitzroy and it was pretty fun. i was excited to actually sell some of my work and have a few hot chocolates at the same time. and there are so many lovely things there i had to stop myself from spending all my money on them. i did buy a lovely swallow necklace which was gorgeous & as soon as i take a pic soon to show you. anyway here are a few pics of my bits & pieces which are also available at my madeit store so take a look!

well this has been a good day. its finally cooled down, i just got some new honey almond tea and my cards are now in store at the lovely i dream a highway in northcote. its such a great store with truly gorgeous items in ranging from clothes to stationery. its great! and i am SO excited that rhiannon has taken some of the little truth.be.told babies!

some peace and quiet...

another day, another million dollars or in my case another million tradies visting out house. but finally only 2 weeks late the kitchen is 80% done which means that i can leave the house + shop, cook real food!, and even get some work done. so here are the latest works i have been doing. i really liked the idea of doing a fully orginal piece but i worked my way up by adapting some of my previous ones and rendering these fully, i really enjoyed it but i'm not 100% sure the results are actually any good!! let me know what you think!

i'm also hard at work doing more cards and stationery sets to try and get ahead before easter and my graduation! i just finished my architecture degree only to finally realise that i really really don't like architecture and started having serious panic attacks at the idea of being an architect and never getting to do a creative thing again. so now i am working part time and doing my own little business and am totally enjoying that. now if only my family could get the message and stop begging people to hire me when its not what i want! hmm ok enough ranting, its silly
