add a little sugar

Yesterday was Shrove Tuesday which is one of the best days at my place. No, not for the proper  traditional reasons but for our own traditions. It means Pancakes are an acceptable dinner food. 

For as long as I can remember in my house, this has been a great sugar filled day; and while I was not feeling the best yesterday (I hurt my back at work!) pancakes for dinner certainly made it a whole lot better. Here are a few shots of the yummy pancakes we got into last night.

I kind of had a fun week last week. Nothing that unusual happened. I made some cute things for my stall. I rode my bike about. I baked a yummy cheesecake. I saw a gorgeous band with some equally gorgeous friends. Point is if every week was like this I would be a pretty happy lady indeed. 

p-shop-palooza

new discovery for the day: making a playlist with annoying pop from your childhood (re anything hanson) is pretty motivational. just in case you need motivation like i do to finish of my p-shop-palooza fun time this evening. above is one of the products for said p-shop festival. more to come xx

diy projects / gorgeous garlands

i am super bad at holidays. well, relaxing really is my weakness. i hate lazing around, i'm always up early and i just help but fidget. it really is pretty rare for me to be sitting still. so while having the next week off over the christmas break will be nice  - i have also been looking for some fun projects to fill in my 4 days off. 
i've had a small pile of fabric odds and ends slowly building up in my studio for a little while. and when i came across this gorgeous fabric garland today on my new fave blog Dolci Odille a little lightbulb popped up above my head. this has christmas break project written all over it!
