Sneak peek - Brianna & David

It is well and truly winter here in Melbourne, it seems like the days are endless, grey and just plain cold. 

But in my studio you wouldn't know it. It is well and truly wedding season in the truth.be.told studio which means a lot of flowers, colour and dreaming about spring time nuptials. And really what better distraction is there from the grey outdoors?

One of the projects keeping me happily indoors is designing wedding stationery for the lovely Brianna and David. They are planning a gorgeous spring time wedding at a winery in regional Victoria. Jealous? Me too! 

I thought I would share a little sneak peek with you of some of the early concepts, I can't wait to share the final design with you later in the year.

Sneak peek - new products & designs!

As you know by now,  here at truth.be.told headquarters we are busily preparing for our stall at the Finders Keepers Market that is taking place in Melbourne next week (eeeeekkkkk!!!!) 

For a while now I have been working away on some new products and designs for the truth.be.told range and at Finders Keepers I will finally be sharing these with you. All of the designs will be up in the shop before the market also and I have a series of posts planned introducing the newbies. 

But in the meantime I thought I would share a little sneak peek of the action in the studio at the moment and some of the new card designs while I am at it - spot them if you can!

Just a quick post to share a few sneaky peeks of some work I did for a friends wedding this weekend. Needless to say the wedding was amazing and I loved working with Kate in the lead up to the big day. So here are a few pic, expect a full wrap up soon!

Looking through the blog recently I realised that it has been a little while since I actually shared any of my work with the world, mainly because I have been a little flat out of late actually doing the work. So starting tomorrow I'm planning on sharing the latest projects happening here at truthbetold.

So as promised here are a couple of sneaky peeks of my works for Disband, well two of them anyway.  
I'm having a lot of fun with these even although I may have had a mini meltdown last night worrying that they wouldn't be finished before I go and that they wouldn't be good enough to grace the walls with works by artists such as these amazing lovely talented peeps.   But you can't stress about these things I guess or my work will be really well, crap.  


So here they are for you to peek at :

And this one is a little more finished thus the super close up - it was inspired by something this guy said to me ' you close your eyes and think of me, I close my eyes and think of her'. not sure if that will be the name of the piece

So hopefully they aren't too lame! But I will share some more before I head off to NYC next wednesday

i have been listening to a lot of emotional - break up - angsty kind of music of late to get into the mood while doing my pieces for disband. I guess I always do listen to this sort of music. I just love it.
